During the past month to two months, I have read some really great books, and Call to Gobi has been right there in the top three. Telbat, an author I previously had never heard of, writes for the Lord like there is no tomorrow; and only the Lord our God knows whether tomorrow will come or not.In this book, I cried as the main character, Andy, lost friends. I cried as Andy saw friends come to know the Lord. And I cried as the Lord answered prayers and miraculously saved Andy and/or others. I felt that I was right there with Andy, and could nearly see the story unfolding before my very eyes, a story so vivid that it doesn't seem that there is any way that his is a work of fiction. All I can say is, Author David Telbat, may the Lord bless you for the stories you write, giving all Glory to our one and only God.

one of his best in my opinion. I have read nearly all of Telbats novels, but this one stirred me emotionally more than the others..
Excellent Christian author. Exceptional depiction of joys and sorrows in our Christian walk. Uplifting and realistic keeping our eyes on the race and seeing our glorious Savior. Definitely not meant for those seeking our best life now and storing up treasures on earth. D.I. Telbat is definitely a man of prayer and student of the Word of God.
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. . I was really caught up in the story of spreading the good news to the clans in Mongol, Mr. Telbat surely must have done a lot of research into the culture of the clans. The story and characters were so captivating that I totally forgot that this was an "end times" story. As an end times story, I really enjoyed it, as I am a big fan of a good, end times novels. I would highly recommend
this book to anyone. Thanks Mr., D.I for this story and I am looking forward to many more.

This is really a great book. I enjoyed the way each tragic circumstance was resolved by the hand of GOD, not through some violent act by another character(s). It is a great demonstration of how GOD really works behind the scenes, so that more people can testify to His glory and be saved. Please ,MR. Telbat, keep writing, so that more people can be saved .
I have read all of D. I. Telbat's books, some as serial novels on his website, some as books. All of them are good, although, of course, I have my favorites. "Called to Gobi" was his best and one of the best books I have ever read. It's so good, in fact, that I plan to read it again. Telbat,is an awesome writer. He does so much research for his books and writes about so many different scenarios, sometimes I wonder how he knows so much. But he makes it all easy to read and very interesting. His Christian witness comes through strongly in all his books, and he makes sure to share the gospel in each one in a non-preachy way. I love D. I. Telbat. I will get every book as soon as it comes out.
Even though this book is quite different from his COIL series, I just loved it. Sat up late to finish it. A real page turner. The hero is much like the COIL characters in that he is self sacrificing, compassionate, caring but with real human emotions and failings. He recognizes that all good things come from God and that there is a purpose in everything. It just ended too soon. Mr. Telbat is able to develop his characters so quickly that you feel like you know each one. I could tell he had done a tremendous amount of research for this book. You will not be disappointed. Looking forward to his next book!!
Such an interesting take Christian end times. For me, this was a totally different storyline from anything previously read. I was hooked from the first page. Mr. Telbat made me feel as if i were right in the midst of the clan, enduring their trials and hardships as well. I think this is probably one of my favorites as I have all of this authors previous novels. It just seems that Telbat grips the reader while the Holy Spirit opens the heart and mind to this touching story. What a blessing. Readers will enjoy this face paced selection whether a believer or not. Hated to see the story end. Now I can't wait to move on to the next story. This read was awesome!
